James Webb Telescope Gives Us Our Clearest View of Neptune in Over 30 Years

The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) continues to give us extraordinary views of the planets in our solar system. On the heels of incredible images of Jupiter, JWST has just released the clearest image of Neptune that we've seen in 30 years; we're able to see both the icy planet and its rings. Not since Voyager 2 became the first spacecraft to observe Neptune during a flyby in 1989 have we had such an incredible view.

NASA Just Made History by Successfully Crashing a Spacecraft Into an Asteroid

Sixty-six million years ago, an asteroid hurtled into Earth. The impact of the enormous chunk of rock created a gigantic crater under what is now known as the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico. The asteroid sent debris flying, which clouded the skies around the globe. Tidal waves bombarded shorelines. The age of the dinosaurs came to a devastating end in a mass extinction event.
